The consumer protection law protects consumers against fraud or unfair practices of procedures and suppliers of products or services. No producer or supplier is allowed to present false information to consumers regarding their product. Producers are required to make sure their products are in conformity with the information mentioned on the label, ensure conformity of the products in terms of quality and quantity, and ensure the safety of the product without crating any inconvenience to the consumer and ensure the availability of spare parts and maintenance facilities, when appropriate. Consumers have the right, whenever the product supplied is not as represented, to substitute or repair the product, reject the product and receive a refund, substitute the services, or receive compensation for damage.


Competition law

A robust economy requires a fair and free marketplace. the competition law protects competition in the market by prohibiting agreements that result in limitation of restriction op competition. Instances that are considered unfair business conduct include predatory pricing, business monopolies, limiting access to information, dividing the market, fixing pricing, and imposing barriers to emerging businesses. The competition law establishes the authority on commerce and the board of protection of competition-related violation.
