Darul Aman Palace

The Darul Aman Palace in Kabul, Afghanistan is the former royal palace of the Afghan Emirate. The three-story-tall palace was built in 1920 during the reign of Emir Amanullah Khan, who became the king of Afghanistan in June 1926.


The building was gutted by fire on 14 December 1968, and was afterwards restored to house the Ministry of Defence during the 1970s and 1980s. In the Communist coup of 1978, the building was once more set on fire,



And it was rebuild in 2019 during presidential time of mohammad ashraf ghani the presedent of Afghanistan and the 100th independent day of Afghanistan was celebrated of its rebuilding opening day with the presence of Emir Amanullah Khan's daughter princes india or Shahdukht Hindia,
